SuKu for Senior Living Communities

For senior living communities

Send it to the building.
See exactly who answered.

SuKu gives your community a resident app and a manager dashboard. Mark an announcement critical and it comes back with a name-by-name answer — who replied, who hasn't, and who never got it. Menus and shuttle times residents can ask for out loud. Requests that carry a status instead of living in a notebook at the front desk.

Announcements

A message that comes back with an answer.

Pick your recipients and send. Mark it critical and every resident gets a time-sensitive notification they have to answer — so a fire drill, a water shut-off or a morning wellness check stops being a corridor walk with a clipboard.

Ask for a simple acknowledgement, a yes or no, a yes / no / maybe, or how someone is feeling. Every reply is stored against the resident with the time they sent it.

The count that matters most is the third one. SuKu records, at the moment you hit send, which residents have notifications switched off — so you find out before an emergency, not during one.

“SuKu, what time is the shuttle today?”

“It leaves at half past two from the main entrance, and comes back at quarter to five.”

Menus, shuttles & activities

The front desk stops repeating itself.

Upload a spreadsheet for each category — date, time, title, details. Set the dates it covers and SuKu marks it live, then expired, on its own. Nothing to reprint, nothing to pin to a board.

Residents read it in the app, or they just ask out loud. Every “what's for lunch?” and “when's the next bus?” answered by SuKu is a call your desk never takes — including the ones at nine in the evening.

Requests

Every request carries a status.

A resident reports a dripping tap from their own phone, picks a category, and it lands in your queue — not on a sticky note that depends on who was on the desk.

Filter by status, assign it to maintenance or the kitchen, and write a response the resident actually sees. When a family member asks what happened about the radiator, the answer is on the record with a date against it.

monitoring

Who's gone quiet.

Each resident carries an activity level — high, moderate, low or inactive — with the last time they used the app and what they used it for. Your roster header reads “32 residents · 3 inactive,” so a quiet week is something you notice rather than something you discover.

groups

Staff and family too.

Residents, staff and guardians each get their own list. Staff carry a department — kitchen, maintenance — so an announcement can go to the people it concerns instead of the whole building.

smartphone

No smartphone, still on the list.

Add a resident, staff member or family contact yourself — name, room, phone number, no app account and no code to exchange. They sit on your roster with everyone else so your lists and headcounts are complete. They won't receive in-app announcements, so you'll reach them the way you do now.

What setting it up looks like.

1

Residents join

A resident opens SuKu and shares their buddy code; you add them to the community. Anyone without a phone, you add directly.

2

Upload the week

Drop in your menu, shuttle and activity spreadsheets with the dates they cover. SuKu handles live and expired from there.

3

Send your first one

Pick recipients, write the message, decide whether it needs a reply. The receipts start filling in straight away.

Residents use SuKu on iPhone or Android — the same app, with everything on the consumer side included. What residents share with the community stays permission-based, and their conversations and memories stay theirs.
